QPR seal Cisse deal

QPR have confirmed the signing of Lazio striker Djibril Cisse on a two-and-a-half year contract.

Cisse, 30, arrives at QPR for an undisclosed fee, although reports suggest the Premier League club have paid around £4 million for his services.

QPR have confirmed the former Liverpool and Sunderland player has been registered in time to make his QPR debut at Aston Villa on Wednesday, subject to international clearance being received one hour before kick-off.

Meanwhile, midfielder Petter Vaagan Moen has left QPR after his contract was terminated by mutual consent. The Norwegian joined the Rs last January from SK Brann but made just two starts and six substitute appearances for the club.
